Our DNS Firewall service helps protect your network from malware, phishing, and other online threats. It also blocks advertisements. To use it, you need to configure your device’s DNS settings to use our DNS server.

Configuration Instructions
Here are the instructions for configuring the DNS Firewall on various operating systems:
Windows
- Open the Control Panel.
- Go to Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center.
- Click on Change adapter settings on the left side.
- Right-click on your active network connection (e.g., “Ethernet” or “Wi-Fi”) and select Properties.
- Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses: and enter
144.24.165.57in the Preferred DNS server field. - Click OK to save the changes.
Linux (Ubuntu/Debian)
- Open the Settings application.
- Go to the Network or Wi-Fi section.
- Click the gear icon next to your active connection.
- Go to the IPv4 tab.
- Disable the Automatic toggle for DNS.
- Enter
144.24.165.57in the DNS field. - Click Apply to save the changes.
macOS
- Open System Preferences.
- Go to Network.
- Select your active network connection (e.g., “Wi-Fi” or “Ethernet”) and click Advanced….
- Go to the DNS tab.
- Click the + button and enter
144.24.165.57. - Click OK and then Apply to save the changes.
iOS (iPhone/iPad)
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Wi-Fi.
- Tap the (i) icon next to your connected Wi-Fi network.
- Scroll down to Configure DNS and select Manual.
- Tap Add Server and enter
144.24.165.57. - Tap Save.
Android
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Network & internet > Private DNS.
- Select Private DNS provider hostname.
- Enter a DNS provider that uses the IP
144.24.165.57(you may need to find a hostname associated with this IP, or use a different method if your Android version does not support DNS-over-TLS with a raw IP). - Alternatively, you can configure DNS settings for a specific Wi-Fi network:
- Go to Wi-Fi, long-press your network, and select Modify network.
- Go to Advanced options.
- Change IP settings to Static.
- Enter
144.24.165.57in the DNS 1 field. - Save the changes.
